FAMILY & SYSTEMIC CONSTELLATION

Sometimes what we struggle with does not begin with us. Unseen loyalties, losses, or stories in our family may continue to echo through generations.

Family Constellations is a way of listening to these deeper movements of life, so what was once hidden can be seen, honored, and gently returned to its rightful place.

Restoring the Hidden Symmetry of Love

Family Constellations is a systemic healing approach that reveals and restores the hidden symmetry of love within families and ancestral systems.

Developed by psychotherapist Bert Hellinger, the work draws from psychotherapy, gestalt therapy, psychodrama, and insights from indigenous traditions.

In every family system, love seeks a natural order. For a system to remain healthy, three fundamental needs must be honored:

Belonging – everyone has the right to their place in the system
Balance – giving and taking remain in harmony
Order of Love – life force and love flows in its natural order

When these principles are disrupted—through loss, migration, exclusion, war, addiction, or unspoken family stories—later generations may unconsciously carry what was unresolved.

Family Constellations gently brings these hidden dynamics into awareness, allowing the system to reorganize so that love, strength, and life can flow more freely again.

What Are Hidden Family Dynamics?

Many challenges we face are not purely personal. They are often systemic, rooted in events long before we were born. These experiences can create patterns that are unconsciously passed through generations.

These patterns may appear as:

• family conflict or painful relationships
• long-term health issues or emotional blocks
• financial struggles or career challenges
• a missing sense of purpose or belonging

By bringing these dynamics to light, Family Constellations allows us to honor the past without being bound by it—restoring balance, belonging, and the natural flow of love in the system.

What Happens in a Family Constellations Session?

A session begins with a brief conversation to understand your intention and the challenge you would like to explore. Together we look at how this issue may be connected to patterns in your family or larger system.

Group sessions
Participants may be invited to represent family members or important elements of your life. As they take their places in the space, a living picture of the system begins to emerge, revealing hidden dynamics and relationships.

Private sessions
Objects, floor markers, or guided visualization may be used to represent family members and elements of the system.

As the constellation unfolds, new insights and movements arise that help restore balance, belonging, and the natural flow of love within the system. Many people experience a sense of clarity, relief, or a shift in their body as the process completes.

How Can a Constellation Help?

Family Constellation work helps you uncover hidden loyalties and restore your rightful place in the family system. Clients often describe:
• a sense of inner spaciousness and freedom to move forward
• shifts in how they relate to family, partners, or colleagues
• greater clarity in decision-making
• meaningful changes in family dynamics
• new insight into relationships, work, or life purpose

Through the process you may:
• discover hidden resources within your family story
• release burdens that were never yours to carry
• restore order within the family system
• understand entanglements with excluded or forgotten family members
• transform inherited beliefs into new possibilities for your life

When the hidden dynamics of a family system are seen and acknowledged, something begins to shift. What once felt heavy or confusing can soften, allowing love to move again in its natural direction.

With your ancestors behind you—rather than entangled within you—you may rediscover your strength, creativity, and sense of belonging, taking your place in the living flow of life.
